Scuba, freediving and mindful dive training in Malta

Dive calmer. Move better. Breathe with purpose.

I teach selected PADI scuba and freediving experiences in Malta, combining clear skills training with breath awareness, body control and the calm, focused mindset that makes better divers.

My approach blends modern dive instruction with yoga, mobility, sun salutation practice, pranayama and practical nervous system awareness. Less rush. Less ego. More control, confidence and connection underwater.

My Teaching Approach

Better diving starts before the dive.

Most divers think improvement starts with another skill, another course, or another piece of equipment. Sometimes it does. But very often, the real shift starts with how you breathe, how you move, how you prepare and how calmly you respond underwater.

My approach brings scuba, freediving, yoga, breathwork, mobility and practical nervous system awareness into one clear method. No fluff. No incense required. Just simple tools that help you become a calmer, more aware and more capable diver.

“When the body settles, the breathing settles. When the breathing settles, the dive changes.”

01

Breath first

Breath is the bridge between your mind, body and buoyancy. Before we try to fix everything underwater, we start with awareness of how you breathe.

02

Body position

Good trim is not just aesthetic. It affects effort, gas use, comfort, awareness and control. We work with the body, not against it.

03

Sun salutation practice

I use simple breath-led movement, including sun salutations, to build mobility, focus and mind-body connection before getting in the water.

04

Calm responses

Diving asks questions. Mask clears, buoyancy changes, task loading, current, low visibility. The goal is not panic-free perfection. It is calm, trained response.

05

Situational awareness

Awareness is a trainable skill. We work on your body, breath, buddy, depth, gas, environment and decisions without turning the dive into a stress exam.

06

Reflect and refine

The dive does not end when you surface. A good debrief helps you notice patterns, build confidence and understand what to adjust next time.

Course Pathways

Choose the path that matches where you are now.

Whether you are taking your first breath underwater, rebuilding confidence, refining buoyancy, exploring freediving or adding new skills, the goal is the same: calmer, safer, more aware diving.

PADI Yoga Diver brings together breath, movement, buoyancy, body awareness and underwater presence. It is the clearest expression of my mindful diving approach.

01

Prepare your body and breathing before the dive.

02

Use breath awareness to support buoyancy and calm.

03

Build better body position, trim and underwater control.

04

Reflect after the dive so progress becomes clear and repeatable.
