Pranayama Workshop for Scuba Divers & Freedivers

A Workshop to give Divers, and Freedivers the Tools, to Extend Their Dives

A 3-hour workshop, broken into two 90 minute sessions. You will learn a physical practice that you can perform daily. We practice deep controlled breathing that helps to slow the heart rate. To be able to dive as safely and as long as possible, the blood should be enriched with oxygen on the one hand, on the other hand, you should be completely calm, and your heartbeat should be slow.

Yoga & Stretching - Surya Namaskar

Learn the Surya Namaskar, or Sun Salutation sequence – an ancient 12 step sequence that is incredibly effective in calming the mind, and warming up the body before doing breathwork. The forward and back bending asanas provide chest and heart-opening movements that are incredibly beneficial when practising Pranayama, they also increase strength, flexibility, and improve our body awareness.

Mental Training - Visualise your Dive

We will practice various visualisation techniques and meditations that you will use every time your train. These tools will help you to relax, slow your thoughts, and help bring your mental activity to a minimum.
