Ayurvedic Yoga, Mobility & Breathwork for Modern, Mindful Living
I teach a fusion of Ayurvedic Hatha yoga, deep stretch mobility, breath training and meditation — helping you move better, feel calmer, and reconnect with your body and breath.
Mindful Movement for Body, Breath & Beyond
“A complete wellness practice rooted in tradition, adapted for modern life.”
At the heart of Traveler Submerged, my yoga practice is deeply integrated with Ayurveda, mindful movement, and breath awareness—forming a holistic approach to health, mobility, and inner balance.
As a yoga teacher, freediver, and scuba instructor, my practice is designed not just for flexibility and strength, but also to enhance breath control, endurance, and mindfulness—whether on land or underwater.

Surya Namaskar
My personal yoga practice revolves around the Sivananda-style Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation). This traditional sequence is:
- A dynamic meditation in motion – combining breath with movement to calm the mind and improve focus
- A complete wellness routine – building strength, flexibility, and balanced energy in under 20 minutes
- Supports circulation, digestion, and hormonal balance through consistent daily practice
- Helps regulate the nervous system, reducing stress and promoting better sleep and mental clarity
Join My Summer Sun Salutation Classes
From May to November, I teach Sun Salutation classes on the beach in Sliema, guiding students through the powerful yet simple sequence of breath, movement, and meditation. Private sessions are also available year-round on request.

Yoga, Mobility & Breathwork That Transform Body and Mind
Hatha Yoga
Prepare to break a sweat as you move through sequences designed to challenge, restore, and elevate, fostering a mind-body connection that reaches beyond the physical. This is more than a yoga class—it’s a holistic exploration of breath, strength, and self-awareness. You'll be guided through traditional postures infused with mindfulness, building both resilience and flexibility. Each class becomes a moving meditation, helping you release tension, boost energy, and ground into the present moment. Expect to leave feeling rejuvenated, aligned, and deeply reconnected to your body and breath.
Science of Stretch
Welcome to the Science of Stretch, a mobility-based yoga series focused on hips, hamstrings, and spinal flexibility. These weekly classes are crafted to deeply and safely increase your basic range of motion, reduce stiffness, and support long-term joint health. Whether you're an athlete, desk worker, or simply want to move better, you'll benefit from this targeted practice. We’ll use sustained holds, breath cues, and simple but powerful stretches that are as meditative as they are functional. Join one or all three sessions each week and experience profound shifts in how you move and feel.
Breathwork & Pranayama
Whether you're new to breathwork or have an established practice, this weekly class is your invitation to slow down, reconnect, and breathe with intention. We explore ancient pranayama techniques designed to balance the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and improve focus. With gentle breath-led movement and guided breathing exercises, you'll tap into greater clarity, inner stillness, and emotional regulation. Each session offers a quiet reset for your mind and body—a powerful tool to carry into daily life. Walk away lighter, clearer, and more connected to your breath and yourself.
Ayurvedic Lifestyle
YOUR PATHWAY TO COMPLETE HOLISTIC HEALTH
Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. The word “Ayurveda” comes from Sanskrit and means “the science of life” or “the knowledge of longevity.” Ayurveda focuses on the balance between the body, mind, and spirit, and it seeks to prevent and treat illness by restoring that balance.
Ayurveda emphasises the importance of understanding an individual’s unique mind-body constitution or “dosha,” which is determined by their physical, mental, and emotional characteristics. There are three main doshas in Ayurveda: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, and each one has its own unique qualities.
Ayurveda offers a holistic approach to health and wellness, and it includes a range of practices and techniques such as herbal remedies, dietary guidelines, yoga, meditation, massage, and other therapies. Ayurvedic treatments can be tailored to an individual’s dosha and specific health concerns.
Some of the benefits of Ayurveda include:
- Improved digestion and elimination
- Reduced stress and anxiety
- Increased energy and vitality
- Better sleep quality
- Enhanced immune function
- Relief from chronic pain and inflammation
- Improved skin health and appearance
- Support for mental and emotional well-being
It’s important to note that while Ayurveda can be a helpful complement to conventional medicine, it should not be used as a substitute for medical treatment when necessary. As with any healthcare approach, it’s essential to consult with a qualified practitioner and to approach Ayurveda as part of a comprehensive plan for health and well-being.
